2003 Employer of the Year - Structural Grace, Inc

In 1999, in order to grow professionally beyond existing gender bias-based barriers in her field, Claudia Perchinelli formed Structural Grace, Inc. a new company within the civil engineering consulting industry. As a woman owned and operated company, Claudia single-handedly built Structural Grace from the ground up. Starting with only one other person, there are now 15 full time employees and their services have expanded beyond consulting to construction management and layout, and a second office has been opened in Phoenix. Structural Grace continually strives to provide opportunities for women in the transportation industry, and is an inspiration for other women in the field through the growth and success of the business.
