Phoenix Engineering Manager
Nathan Palmer, PE, currently serves as the Engineering Manager for the Phoenix Office. Nathan has been working in the engineering industry since 1998 and has been designing bridges since 2005. Prior designing bridges he acquired valuable experience in surveying, construction, full-scale testing, fabrication and structural plan review. His recent experience includes the layout and structural design of precast prestressed concrete girder bridges, post-tensioned concrete box girder bridges, spliced girder hybrid bridges, steel girder bridges, concrete deck slab bridges, retaining walls, concrete box culverts, junction structures, catch basins, steel traffic structures, repair and retrofit design, quantity take-offs, cost estimating and project document preparation and review. He has also been extensively involved in proposal writing, proposal reviews and marketing for both design-bid-build and design-build pursuits. Mr. Palmer is conversant in static and dynamic analysis and can apply analytical results and code requirements with ingenuity to produce viable real world solutions for the most complicated of engineering problems.
