Project Description:

Structural Grace, Inc. performed structural design and production of construction documents, including cost estimate, and special provisions, for twin two-span, parabolic reinforced concrete slab bridges crossing Osborn Wash, at the Verrado Development in Buckeye, Arizona. Structural Grace, Inc. also provided design coordination with bridge architect to implement architectural enhancements into the structural design.

The Scope of Services included review of roadway plans and geometrics; work with team in defining thematic character concepts, inventory architectural design concepts and associated costs, structural/bridge design, construction documents (plans, quantities, cost estimates, special provision), and architectural involvement.

Key objectives of the project were to provide a cost effective design that has architectural substance and aesthetic details that contribute to the architectural theme of the community.
