Project Description:

Structural Grace, Inc. prepared the structural design and construction documents for this four-span, cast-in-place, reinforced concrete hybrid box bridge that carries Union Hills Drive over the Reata Wash. The structure, which is 222-ft. long by 39-ft. wide, has a substructure with continuous spread footings at the abutments and piers.

The fascias were designed as parabolic arches framing into pylons at each abutment and pier. Also included was the design of 160 ft. of curved retaining walls and a full-length drop inlet structure.
